The library of the Erich Auerbach Institute for Advanced Studies is a presence library with about 2300 volumes, which are recorded in the Kölner Universitätsgesamtkatalog (KUG). The main focus is on the "Sammlung Morphomata", which, in addition to general reference works, covers topics such as portraits, biography, knowledge systems, death, creativity, time and rule, and in selected areas from archaeology and German studies.

Visiting the library is possible only by appointment. We recommend wearing a mask when entering the building for self-protection and protection of others.
