Distinguished Auerbach Fellowship

Since 2022, the Erich Auerbach Institute for Advanced Studies has awarded an annual Distinguished Fellowship to honor an outstanding academic personality.

As part of the fellowship, each fellow gives a “Disinguished Auerbach Lecture” for an academic and municipal audience. In addition, they lead a workshop in which selected texts from their work are discussed with the participants, or offer a master class for students and doctoral candidates of the University of Cologne.
